Local Lenders
Prospective homebuyers are advised to initiate a relationship with a lender in order to obtain pre-approval for a mortgage. Below is a list of lenders who have been actively engaged in the Live Work Housing Program and possess extensive knowledge of the home-buying process.
A minimum down payment of $5,000 is required when signing the Offer to Purchase. Homes will be available for purchase upon completion. To submit an Offer to Purchase, a potential home buyer must be certified as eligible by a lender and pre-approved for a mortgage.
Steps to become eligible to buy a home in Founders Pointe:
- Complete the online Home Buyer Selection Preference form [link].
- Get pre-approved by a lender for a mortgage.
- Have the lender certify eligibility and qualify as a "Qualified Buyer".
- The Live Work Housing Program will notify “Qualified Buyers” to submit an Offer to Purchase on their preferred home from Step 1.
